IEF Triage brings the power of IEF Standard into the field. Offering the same functionality, and also provides the ability to run directly from a USB thumb drive in “Stealth mode” that leaves no digital tracks on a computer. IEF Triage is particularly valuable for running on-scene quick searches in the field, taking a live RAM capture, and checking for disk encryption. With IEF Triage, you get the additional capability of using it in a lab environment by installing the IEF Standard software on as many workstations as you would like. In this situation, the IEF Triage thumb drive is simply used as the license key, and the IEF Standard software runs from the forensic workstation.
